Gingerbread man !
Ohhh ~~~ finally my first attempt of making gingerbread man.. It looked kinda crappy .. But yea at least I tried :)

Burger bun #2
Aw, the second time making burger buns! Btw, guys.. This bun only contains 180 calories per each.
Whole wheat burger bun (make 5buns)
100g whole wheat flour
100g all purpose flour
2tsps sugar
1/2tsp salt
1tsp instant yeast
125mL warm water
1) mix together all the ingredients in a bowl, turn the dough out on a floured surface, keep on kneading in flour if the dough appears too wet. Knead for about 5mins, a soft and smooth dough should be formed. Put the dough back into the bowl and cover it with plastic wrap, let the dough relax for 20mins.
2) take the dough and divide it into 5equal portions (around70g each). Shape it into a smooth ball, place them on a baking sheet which lined with parchment paper. Let them rise in room temp for an hour or it has doubled in size.(may take more time to rise in winter, around twice as usual time, so .. Be patient:)*
3) lightly brush a beaten egg to do an egg wash, sprinkle sesame seed or poppy seed on top(optional). bake them in 375F preheated oven for 10mins.
Tips for helping the dough rise:)
~ turn on the oven for a few minutes, then turn it off. Put the dough in it.
~ microwave a cup of water for 2mins, your microwave would not get warm cas of the steam that the water gives out. Put ur dough in it and let it rise.

Chinese BBQ pork
"What's today dinner mom ?D:"- ths like the most frequent question I would ask, lol. And for most of the time, her answer is "u will see.."-.-. But.. I got a different answer today..:D she said we are gonna eat cha sui (Chinese style BBQ pork) !!! Omg !

Pretzels
In A Saturday afternoon looking for snack, had a feeling to eat pretzels but too lazy to go to the mall, so how about the homemade ones? Cool! Let's do it :>
Pretzels recipe: make 8 pretzels (80g each)
Dough:
2&3/4cups all purpose flour
2tsps instant yeast
1tsp sugar
1/2tsp salt
1tbsp oil
1cup warm water
Egg wash:
1egg, beaten
Salt
Parmesan cheese
1) mix together the dough ingredients and knead for 5mins or until a soft and smooth dough is formed. Let it rise in a warm place for an hour or until it rise.
2) punch the dough down and divide it into eight equal pieces. Form it into pretzels shape. Place it on the baking sheet and cover it with plastic wrap, let it rise for an hour.
3) brush with the beaten egg, sprinkle with salt and cheese. Bake in 375F preheated oven for 12mins.

Diet
Just wanna talk about the diet im going on. My weight was once 90 Ibs , and had gone up to 110. This is just ridiculous! So I started to control my meal and had my calories intake under 1200. I have been going on diet for 1month and now my new weight is 107 Ibs. :D still a long way to get back to my weight before, but yea, the diet plan is working!!! Omg:3 btw, I'm trying to lose muscles, I feel like I have too much muscles stuck on my legs. I don't think they are fat, cas its so tight and yea, a girl legs shouldn't be muscular , right?! :c
Tips for loss weight:
1) lower calories intake
2) exercise at least once a week, swimming is the best cas it won't give u those ugly manly muscular legs
3) fruits for snack, get rid of chips
4) eat more for breakfast, less for dinner
5) less protein intake can reduce muscles, but doesn't mean that not to eat meat
6) try to avoid sugary food, cas it makes u wanna eat more, which is something u don't wanna happen.
7) diet is a long term plan, a few weeks won't give u a dramatic change. Even ur weight drop, u still have to go on, , otherwise ur gonna get even fatter than before.

Okonomiyaki (japanese pancake)
Awwwww, (in my opinion) the best pancake in the world :3
Ingredients:
Chopped cabbage
Diced ham
Bisquick
Flour
Salt
Milk or water
Egg
Seaweed
Okonomiyaki sauce
Mayonnaise
1) mix together the first 6ingredients
2) heat a non-stick frying pan with oil
3) pour the mixture into the pan, fry each side for 3mins or until it's golden down and cooked through.
4) serve with seaweed,sauce and mayo
* the measurement really depends on how thick u want the batter should be. And I never cook this with exact measurement.,and it always comes out perfect so yea:@

Jam filled bun
I totally forgot when did I ever make this-.- it just appeared in my photo album.. So yea., jam filled soft bun:) all I know is that i was having a hard time of making these buns, it was super difficult to wrap in the jam, maybe I'm just not skillful enough :( but they wre really good :) save some time in the morning, cas u dont need to spread jam over ur toast anymore :D lol

Guys, take a look at all those cute Chinese dim sum:) soo cutee n tasty! I ate that in Hong Kong, not sure can u still find it overseas :(

Stuffed bell peppers
Omgg, the first time to eat stuffed bell pepper in my life and I'm loving it! Can't believe it is that simple to make and you can have lots of variations of making it!! The filing I made was: fried sliced mushrooms and carrots mixed with cooked rice, added a half cup tomato sauce in it and finally seasoned it with salt and pepper. Whine you get the filling done, all you hav to do is just put the stuffed peppers into the 350F preheated oven and bake it for an hour covered with foil.
Wanton
One of my fav Chinese food :) if u hav nv heard of it, then well, u missed one of those gd food. Wanton is like pork and veggie dumpling, it can be deep fried, pan fried or boiled in chicken soup, and I preferred it to be boiled:)

Guys, gotta show u this ring;) ring-wing! So awesome!! Got them from Aldo with my friend. It was on sale when we got them, it was like buy one and get the other one half price. Loving it.~ so cool. Btw, the Wing pattern/print/symbol is on every where now, so u should really get sth with the wing on, makes u look u hav a high fashion taste ...hahaa :p

Swiss roll cake
Don't we all love CAKE? Go away if u don't, o no wait, come back, cas this cake is so amazing and u relly hav to take a look of it:0 ! Lol. Swiss ROll Cake <3 I used to have it everyday when I was small, but then my mom stopped buying it, so I couldn't eat it anymore (too lazy to buy it myself xD) so, umm , not so sure why i made it, but I just did and it turned out so goood :D The cake was soft and spongy (lol, isn't that wht is supposed to be?! Is a sponge cake !!) then I used whipped cream as the filling, but any other filling works the same too, eg. Jam, buttercream and so on, maybe even ice-cream:0 so gd man! Uguys got to try it!!
Recipe
2 eggs , in room temp
80g sugar
55g flour
1tbsp milk
1tbsp oil
1/2tsp vanilla
1) beat together eggs and sugar with a electric hand mixer on high speed until it turns white and doubles in volume.
2) sift in flour and fold it into the egg batter. Add in remaining ingredients and mix well.
3) line an 9inch square baking pan with parchment paper and pour in the batter , bake in 350F preheated oven for 12 mins or until it turns golden brown.
4) let the cake cool completely on a rack. Then spread the filling and roll it. Put it into the fridge for abt 30mins before you cut and serve.

They look so perfect and yes they are the most perfect burger bun I had ever eaten by far!~ unfortunately, I didn't record down the measurement when I made it, I only know wht ingredients I had used -3- so dumb! Well, but I guess you could probably find a similar/ even better recipe by following the ingredient list- yeast, water, sugar, salt, flour and oil. Really normal ingredients to make bread.

Shes the first pet I got, (actually, not the first, but the first pet that needs so much time to take care of -.-) but there's things I hate abt cats- 1)they never greet your warmly:s srsly, they only come to u when they want food, for the rest of the time, they would lay on the bed and take a long long sweet sleep >:( grrr! Lazy animals!! 2)their poo are extremely smelly. Its not ordinary smells, it's beyond wht a poo could be smell like!! I'm not even joking. If one day u ran out of luck and had to clean the litter box and accidentally smelled the poo, u would understand wht mi talking abt:)
So, that's the 2things (I could think of so far) I hate abt having a cat as a pet, and that's also 2things u should consider before getting one:3

double chocolate muffin
Since this blog is abt food (as u can read fr. the title;), i should probably start off with my chocolate muffin as the first post. So, chocolate...everyone's fav. Thats all i could think abt chocolate, lol, so lame but true. Anyways, chocolate can bring joy to a next level :D mi right? needness to ask.
Double Chocolate Muffin (make 6regular size muffins)
3/4cup all-purpose flour
1/4cup cocoa powder
1/3cup sugar
3/4tsp baking soda
1/8tsp salt
1/4cup veg. oil
1/3cup 2% chocolate milk
1 large egg
1/2tsp vanilla
1tsp white vinegar
1/4cup chocolate chips (optional, but highly recommanded)
1) sift together all the dry ingredients in a bowl.
2) in another smaller bowl, whisk together the oil, milk, egg vanilla and vinegar.
3) pour the wet mixture into the dry, add chocolate chips at this point if using, mix until just combined.
4) bake in 350F preheated oven (i was too lazy to preheat my oven :P) for 25mins
isnt the recipe so easy? hum? this is so chocolate-y and you knw what, dont feel sorry for urself, screw all those calories and enjoy the joy that chocolate brings to you :3
