Strawberry filled Cream puffs

This was not my first time making cream puffs, but it's the first time to make such a sexy cream puff that looks just like the one in a bakery shop. To achieve such a perfect looking cream puff, all you need is patient and not tired of washing dishes. Here is the rough timeline:
1) cream puff
-15mins preparing the batter
-30mins baking per batch
-10mins cooling

2) custard (depends on how are you gonna make it, I only used instant custard powder and all I need is to microwave it)
-5mins making
-30mins chilling in the fridge

3) whipping cream
-3mins whipping with electric mixer

4) strawberries (optional)
-3mins washing and slicing

5) Washing dishes
-30mins or above

So, basically this little cream puff took me the whole afternoon and yea.. So .. Really time consuming

Berries tart with custard 鮮果撻

Me: "What do you want for dessert?"
My sis: "fruit tart:3!"
Me: " alright <3"

And so there you go, a custard filled tart with assorted berries on top. First, blind bake a crust for the tart, then fill the tart shell with cooked custard filling. Lastly, decorate the tart with berries or fruit you have on hand.

Chicken pie with mashed potato 薯溶雞批

Seriously, this is one of the best pie I have ever made. I could not find any word to describe how amazing this pie is. All i can say is to try imagine a buttery and flaky pie crust filled with creamy chicken and mushroom filling and finished off with a rich mashed potato topping. That is how amazing it is.

Hong Kong Egg Tart 蛋撻

When I was browsing on the internet, I suddenly had a feeling to eat egg tart. Although it would be easy if I just get a ride to the near local Chinese bakery and get one, I wanted to make my own tart this time. However, I had no clue at all since this was the first time to make an egg tart. For the first attempt, the egg filling leak out from the tart shell and obviously it was a fail. I kept trying and even though the egg filling did not leak out this time, the egg tart just looked so wrong and alright it was a fail again. I was quite disappointed, but I would not be put down by a tiny failure and so i decided to give it a last try. It was not perfect but at least it was a big improvement.

Tiramisu- valentine treat

I know I already had a post on tiramisu before, but this time I used a different recipe which is found on the Sorted food site and the best thing about it was that it requires no egg and gelatin powder. I made 2servings which is the perfect portion for couples celebrating valentine day. The decoration could be vary and please be creative with it:)

Crustless quiche

Start your day off with a super easy and healthy meal - crust less quiche. One lovely breakfast idea that I should have think of earlier >:( recalling my memory, the last time making quiche was sometime around last september. That time, I made the quiche with crust and in the form of a small tart. It was good but cannot consider as something that is healthy since the crust itself already loaded with calories and fat. I always have a thought that is crust necessary, can I possibly omit it? By not making the crust can not only save my some room for dessert and also save my time. I wish I had proceed my thought earlier instead of finding crust less quiche tastes as good as quiche with a crust right now. If you have no time in the morning, prepare and bake the quiche overnight, microwave it in the next morning. :)

Recipe (1serving)
-1egg
-Splash of milk or cream
-A teaspoonful of ricotta cheese or sour cream or cheese of your choice
